'cause this whole place is determined not to make sense. Won't be so bad once it's summer, I guess, but now trying to camp without one is pretty much the worst.

More or less. The routes that you have to walk through from town to town is filled with other Pokemon, so it's best to stay strong to prevent any accidents.
