So now I'm finally in Canada. After taking a long trip through Idaho and a hike in Montana. Spending the night in Cranbrook, B.C. After this, time to head north...
Dead tired too, prolly going to sleep early tonight, and not post too much...
Only 900ish miles to Yellowknife now... -

More updates on the trip
So now I'm in... I'm not sure where. I finally found a hotel open at midnight that still had rooms, places along US20 were all booked up. Didn't mean to drive almost 600 miles in one day ( Read more... ) -
Some progress..
I didn't make it quite as far as I hoped in the first day, but I made it as far as Reno. And that's not a bad place to stop, since it's essentially at the edge of the area I know with any vague certainty (Actually, it ended at Tahoe, 30 miles back) So tomorrow is all new stuff, as the GPS is claiming Yellowknife is almost due north of here, and I ( Read more... ) -
Zero day...
Well, everything is finally packed and ready to go, got the Baja packed up, all the stuff I think I need... The GPS says it's only 1800 miles to Yellowknife... time to go get lost for a few weeks! -
Finally able to get started
Well, I think I got everything ready, so I can start off tomorrow... for anyone interested, you can see about where I am by checking this site: Where's Dragon. It should work, it's kind of an ugly hack, and it might not always get updated on the trip... With luck I'll be on the road before noon tommorrow! -

Yaay!
Wow, our team actually won a hockey game! Last season we were 0-16, so this was a nice change, for once we were the ones winning 9-1... we were just passing and playing as a team really well for a change, it seemed to help.. I managed to get 3 assists (and a penalty, but.. oops), including one really nice one where me and the other D just kept ( Read more... ) -
Nothing amazing...
Just thought I'd post something, I haven't touched this in ages, but I'm still around.. out on the deck late at night, watching the stars, enjoying the breeze, listening to music, things seem nice and peaceful here.. hopefully that'll last.
