We've been busy, simply living life, for the past couple of years with family and travel. We continue to spend winters in Yuma, AZ to minimize the short, dark, wet days that are omnipresent in the northern Willamette Valley of Oregon. We were in Aurora, Oregon about 30 miles south of Portland for a month. It was a backup location when we were denied entrance, due to Covid-19 restrictions, to the park in Portland where we had reservations. The COVID-19 virus has complicated our lives as much as everyone else's. We are trying to stay safe in a less congested part of the U.S. The first two photos below are of Roosevelt Lake along highway 188 in Central Arizona. We're staying in Yuma for a month, primarily for the weather. It's been in the upper 60s to the upper 70s for the whole month. Sunny for all but 2 days and only a trace of rain one night. We were in Las Vegas in mid November prior to traveling to Portland for the holidays. During our time there we visited the Red Rock State Park just west of, and abutting, Las Vegas and the Valley of Fire State Park, about 50 miles Northeast of LV.
