Well, on Sunday December 23rd after his health declined to the point he couldn't walk, see or hear well, and after several little strokes (ischemic infarction), my dad has passed away. He had turned 89 just the day before.

I used to call it "fall", but "autumn" has a nicer ring to it. Yeah, it's cold and rainy, but I love the changing colors, the fall autumn drives around Mount Hood, and all the seasonal food people bring to work from about Halloween to New Year's Day.
