An end? No.

"To announce that there should be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American people." - Theodore Roosevelt ( Read more... )

Actually, you read kind of liberal, but that's a good thing. We need to un-demonize that term.

And just living would be a lot easier if the policies of a certain president didn't infringe on so many of our basic rights and freedoms, and hamper our ability to improve the world aroud us.

There's a saying in Africa... "You are free to swing your arms as you please, but your freedom to swing your arms ends with the beginning of my nose." We should all endeavor to remember this simple axiom, coupled with an agreement to keep ones nose out of the affairs of others.

I really don't think that Dubya is gonna "reach out to the Democrats" as he said he would. And it will be to his detriment. If history is a guide, anyway....

Jesus delfina, this is why I didn't bother to say anything to you. I have a baby in my belly. I'm supposed to be completely away from stress, and off my feet. As it is, I have stress, and I have not been off my feet. The stress, thankfully hasn't been coming from a single friend. Until now. You are close minded when you make up your mind. I could have a thousand awesome things to say, to debate with you, but i know that you'd never see it my way. ITS JUST THE WAY YOU'VE ALWAYS appeared to me ( ... )

Look, you haven't even SPENT any time around me in person save 5 minutes in the McMinnville RadioSmack parking lot since I was what, 18 years old? Do I necessarily blame you for this? No, you haven't even lived in Oregon most of that time. But how DARE you come to assumptions as to how I would act in your presence regarding political topics. I happen to RESPECT my FRIENDS that have different opinions and TRY to keep things clean when in their presence. For god's sake, I spent a full day with 2 dozen Christian Bush supporters just days before the election and didn't say a WORD to them about how much I disagreed with their perspective. We merely talked about where we were coming from--in a RESPECTFUL manner--and left it at that ( ... )

VICTORY IS MINE!

Anyways...yeah I'm one of those that is sick of it. I voted and we got foilage boy for president. *twitches* FUCK BUSH

But I guess I am more annoyed that people are out protesting and doing illegal activities in the process to get attention.

The colleges and a lot of party groups are finding peaceful ways to share their frustration. I agree with the fact that Bush sucks but I take it out by being active in my political party.

And that is all that I, personally, am doing.

As long as we have [somewhat] openly democratic elections, and good people willing to run for offices of power, it will never be an end. That's what keeps my mind from getting too down about Bush being re-elected.

Never give up hope. Our generation [DAY GLO 80'S, YEA!] will change the world.
