Hospital gave me a number and access code to get status info. I called the public line trying to follow visitor rules. Keep in mind I amworking at another location right now and only get short breaks. The unit clerk answered and she told me they were too busy to give me any info and I can call back in an hour. Surgery went well. They were delayed due to a previous surgery running later. My mom got in at about 2:30 and was done at 6:30. The tumor was restricting blood in her inferior vena cava but it was not in it. They gave her two units of blood due to minimal loss during the surgery and her Hbhct was low. We are truly gluttons for punishment. Amidst everything else going on we are now fostering another dog. Cutest little guy! 7 months old, house trained and knows sit like the back of his paw. Riley's "Go" button is a bath. It apparently gives him a case of rocket butt. (Runs around and tucks his butt underneath him.) He then proceeds to jump on our bed and roll around like a maniac.
