My day has been made substantially better by my dogs. Looking all adorable and laying in my lap. Napping on me and being cuddle bums. Goodness I love my pets to no end.

My faith in humanity as a species, though small at best, has completely left my life. I have faith in those I know as individuals, but that is it. If we're a species that can kill animals out of cold hearted hatred or just because of their "continuous barking" than there is no real reason to associate myself with heathens.

I feel like I am lost adrift in an ocean of my own emotions. Half the time I force myself to smile and pretend everything is okay (I would rather not ruing other people's good moods with my nonsense) and half the time I want to just start punching people.
