My speedometer is mad insane. Most of the time it seems to be functioning normally, however it's evidently off by some 15-20kmph, with contradicting observations to both sides. It also tends to change behavior between bumps on the road, which somewhat strengthens my idea of what the problem is ( Read more... ) -
On oil
For all of its many merits (just today I was complimented again by a fellow rider what a great bike I own), Burgman also has a number of seriously irritating design flaws.
One of not-the-least ones is the oil measurement tool. For some, probably totally logical, reason the ocular gauge was only added on the 2006 model and later. 2004 model comes ( Read more... ) -

Why? Simple!! The fucking speedo on my bike went fucking nuts! I am enraged beyond sanity.
I looked through the webs and it seems like a common problem on all Burgmans. Common mother-loving problem, how about that. And I got me a very neat idea why it's common, too - if the cause is what I think it is, what the webs say it is - and I'm pretty bloody ( Read more... ) -

It's so hot I feel like scratching my skin off and throwing it into the freezer.
I'm only okay when I ride, even despite the (black) armor. I want to ride forever, until I cross over to the land of grey mountains and tall forests, where it's cold. Does a place like that even exist, anymore? -

I was complimented at work today for being very brave at choosing such a big bike for my first ride. I'm beginning to see the truth of the statement.
