Surprise, Yohji, your watch is becoming less uneventful now. The last living guard is stumbling/crawling down the hall. His left eye is a bleeding ruin, and he is trying to get to the exit. Away from the slaughter this has become.
::Stumbling and missing an eye? Hell, this guy's someone Yohji can actually deal with on his own. If he braces himself between the water fountain and this potted fern for leverage, can he can he get his wire around the guard's neck?::
::It's almost too easy, really. Getting the leverage to pull the wire taught takes a little more doing, and Yohji's going to have the imprint of a water fountain on his hip for a few days, but it's a small price for seeing the guard gasp desperately for air. Die, bastard.::
Kakyou makes a soft sound of protest at Aya-nii's disappearance. But he can't sustain the concentration for anything more than that. He sinks to the floor slowly, blinking at Aya-chan a little. His eyes cloud over as he stops struggling and finally lets the drug take him.
Aya doesn't know how injured Kakyou might be, so she doesn't attempt to move him just yet. She has the first aide kit sitting near her. When she has cleaned Kakyou enough to make it obvious most of the blood isn't his, she speaks calmly to him.
“Kakyou, I need you to walk with me to the bed. I'll hold you up, but I don't think I can carry you.” She pauses. “My brother will be very angry when he comes back and sees you on the floor.”
Ginta had been making a trip to the dumpster behind the Kitten to dispose of the bit of cloth he had been toting around. Aya-san is the first person he sees when he walks through the door to the upstair rooms and he smiles, glad to see another safely back.
"Hey, Aya-san. I guess all the loose ends are tied up, hm?"
The balance of disquietude is one Ginta tries not to jostle too much. Which is why he's not terribly open about how much easier the killing used to be when he considered the targets potential meals. >_>
Ginta nods in response to that. "Good to hear. I'm glad he got involved. Certainly made the whole ordeal go a lot smoother."
That... almost sounds like praise. From Aya-san. He's not sure how to respond to that so his response comes off as a little bit embarrassed. "Heh, uh, thanks. Didn't have a lot of room to mess up, after all. You and everyone else did pretty well too from the looks of things."
Ginta had been milling about not far from the door to Kakyou's room. Sure, he knew everyone was alright and the crisis was over, but it still made him feel better to be close by. His face breaks into a wide smile when he sees Aya-chan. "Hey! How is Kakyou? How are you?"
"Stoned? I heard he was fairly out of it because of some stuff those guys gave him. Is that the same thing? I'm happy to hear he's doing well, though."
He just smiles at that and attempts a nuzzle. "I'm glad too. And you know... I know it wasn't a great circumstance to be in, but it was still kind of neat seeing everyone working together."

"Can you help me stand up?"

She had changed his bedsheets while she was waiting for them to return even though she guessed they would just end up bloodied.

"Yes. Schuldig is taking care of a few minor details."
He tilts his head. "You seemed to handle yourself well."

His sister is in bed with a man. Again. They were going to have to have a Talk.
"How did you know it was me?"

"Kakyou is sooo very stoned, but happy.
"I'm grateful to have people in my life I can count on."
