By time Aya makes it to the park, she feels more calm. Nothing has spontaneously combusted along the besides the unfortunate Nexus couch. The powers feel like the better than getting an A on test. Better than being hugged by her brother. She can see the red orange of her growing powers behind her closed eyes.

:: Aya PINpoints to an alley behind the Kitten in House flower shop. There are street lights and signs from shops glowing brightly, although most shops have been closed for many hours. Aya takes the stairs up to her apartment behind the shop and leaves the door open. :: -

These past several months have put in perspective how privileged my life was before. I’ve learned a little bit of what it’s like not to have everything handed to you and how to do without. I’m very tired of learning important lessons. -

:: Aya is sitting hunched over the computer desk in the room that used to belong to her brother using the computer she raided from Omi. She pushes the hair out of her face and goes back to typing. It's so tempting to rest her head on the desk just for a moment. :: -
