Does anyone know how to do any type of hairstyle for the 40's-50's that doesn't involve victory rolls. I am hair inept...

Crew cut? Oh, you mean for chicks. Um... up-dos and long bobs. Think Wilma and Betty from the Flintstones.

yeah, for chicks please. :-) I don't think i'd look good in a crew cut, but it would be funny to see the look on t's face!

The 1940's was about simple hair. They didn't have blow driers, so they would put rollers in their hair over night so it would be curly the next day. Anything from a slight wave in your hair, to a curly up do will work. Here are some pictures. Hope this helps.
