fucked up?

So my ex-boyfriend (hi luke!) and I were having a little chat today via e-mail about my brother.  Apparently after my brother left Brian's house he went straight over to my house and proceeded to be a huge pain in the ass.  Fine, that's totally like him.  He pretty much antagonized Luke, invited a bunch of friends over and got all drunk.  Again, ( Read more... )

If you're going to make a big deal about him staying "friends" with your mother and bother, then you kind of have to be the same with Riley. Technically, she is his family. And whether he's "real" friends with Devin or not (like, they'd be friends if it weren't for you) - you not cutting ties but expecting him to IS a double standard...

you really agree with that? Comparing my relationship with Riley to his relationship with my mother and my brother is a little far reaching.

I have known Riley and had a relationship with her since the day she came out of the womb. She is also just a child.

My mother, on the other hand, is an adult. As is Luke. Common sense should play a role here.

The only way you can compare the two scenarios is the extent of Riley's relationship with Luke is purely "blood relative", which is the same type of relationship that I have with my mom/brother.

It's obvs my mom didn't want a daughter! She loves those boys!
