My aunt Claudette sent a necklace and pair of earrings to me from Florida. She makes them herself, and no two are alike. They're beautiful. And it made my day to have this arrive in the mail. I'd have to say the highlight of my day was going to Dairy Joy with Isla during lunch and running from the parking lot into school thinking we were late. And I just got back from the post office where I mailed almost all of my work (photography) to my grandfather down in Florida so he could see it. Tonight was a success. I enjoyed the show. Isla, Lauren, Timmy and Tricia were fun kids. All the bands were great, even though the two I really wanted to see didn't show. National Honor Society induction ceremony tonight. Yes, by default my cheeks did turn a rosy shade of mauve. I guess it's kind of my trademark, embarrassingly enough. I still want argyle tights. I'm determined to get some. I want to go to a good college. But who doesn't? And I need to register for SATs. And soon.
