Revenge 1x17 - "Doubt"

Apr 22, 2012 01:50

Supposed to be working on my ambiguous term paper this weekend, but it's slowly making me lose my will to live, and then there's the fact that I'm having trouble focusing due to all the feelings my show's return gave me this week. Can I major in Revenge instead?

This episode just kept on giving )

gabriel mann, gabe is forever a flawless human being, revenge: the best show ever, reaction posts, nolan ross is my prince, nolan/emily own my heart

I'm so happy to have Revenge back on my screen! All of the N/E stuff was awesome and honestly I'm starting to believe that there's MORE there than just a brother/sisterly bond. I mean cmon show! Before I felt it, but I couldn't see it - now I really want it to happen :p

I love that Emily totally beat the crap out of that guy - it's always 'don't mess with me bitches!' :D

ME TOO. I've come to know life without the show, and I didn't like it. NEVER LEAVE ME, REVENGE.

There are definitely legitimate canon vibes there... It's like the show has taken on a life of its own when it comes to N/E & keeps going, "LOOK! Look at how cute they are together."

"Emily kicks ass" scenes are always gratifying because she's no longer the powerless little girl whose only option is to take everything lying down, she gets to fight back now!

I'm kind of concerned as to what will happen when the guy wakes up, though, I wonder if his big mouth will be enough of a reason not to call Victoria & tell her about the incident.

My streaming of the episode cut out with 4.5 minutes to go so I am most pleased with this little re-cap of yours! I'd managed to glean that Emily got a little physical revenge on the dude that beat up Daniel, and that she'd said "That was for Jack," but I didn't realise he'd also basically admitted to beating up Jack at the bar that time and that is what she was referring to... Makes so much more sense now :)

Also, when Nolan patted Emily's shoulder when he walked out I TOTALLY thought of you and your inevitable squee! Heeeeeee.

I'm glad you liked it! You're not the only one who had to do a double-take when Emily said, "This is for Jack" - I myself was too excited on my first watch to attempt rational thought that he must have come clean about THAT particular hit too. It does make all the sense.

Also, when Nolan patted Emily's shoulder when he walked out I TOTALLY thought of you and your inevitable squee! Heeeeeee.

AWW. <3 YOU KNOW MY LIFE SO WELL, BB.

Between all the N/E shooting range etc. goodness in "Infamy" & this episode, Dan Dworkin & Jay Beattie must really love me.

By the way, did you see the Treadwell Report website? I love when TV shows do things like that.

Ahahaha, I didn't noticed the lobster sweater! And omg Jack should totally have given Nolan a hug. (I'm pretty well on board with Jack/Nolan/Emily, tbh.)

More new episodes, give them to me!!

It was hilarious! I love how they're hinting that ~winter is coming with all the knitwear Nolan was sporting in this episode.

I love everything that Nolan/Jack chose to be this episode.

"I risked federal imprisonment for you, and this is how you treat me?"

"I want my friend back."

I LOVE THEIR BROMANCE.

I'm pretty well on board with Jack/Nolan/Emily, tbh.

I APPROVE OF YOUR SHIPPING CHOICES.

I'm kind of excited for an epic Jack/Fauxmanda reunion as well, ngl.

More new episodes, give them to me!!

THIS. Wednesday seems AGES away, how the hell did I survive ~2 months without the show?

Heeee, yes! And somehow I was still surprised by the timejump. There was snow on my screen all of a sudden.

I APPROVE OF YOUR SHIPPING CHOICES.
TY!! The most recent episode provided me with some more fodder, yay!

Yeah, it's definitely very surreal to see the never-ending snowfalls on the show! I also liked the snowdrifts in front of Nolan's house in the latest ep, hee.

Wasn't it the BEST? I've just finished my reaction post, so feel free to come talk about anything you liked! :)

Way late to the party, but SO MUCH SQUEE FOR THIS EPISODE.

Nolan bringing Emily food. Perfection.

hat fond/sympathetic look he gives her, he knows she won't be able to make good on not caring.
He understands her better than she understands herself.

<3 <3 <3 AND YEAH HIS HAND ON HER SHOULD AS HER LEFT HI THERE SHIP I LOVE YOU ( ... )

OMG AGNES, WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG. I have all these N/E feelings & not enough places to channel them. I keep having one-sided conversations with the Captain about them, and he ~responds in all the interviews he finally has time for since Revenge wrapped.

I mean, you HAVE to listen to Part 2 of THIS one, so wonderful (he concurs with our arguments!). Then come flail with me about his latest one WHICH MERITED AN ACTUAL POST DEVOTED TO IT for everything he said about gunning for N/E.

<3 <3 <3 AND YEAH HIS HAND ON HER SHOULD AS HER LEFT HI THERE SHIP I LOVE YOU.

THAT WAS SO PRECIOUS. I HOPE WE GET SOME MORE TONIGHT.

Nolan actually adds a great deal to the Emily/Jack relationship, so I definitely concur with you there.

Yes, I appreciate Declan finally having a character-building storyline. I mean, I actually had feelings about him this time around, that's worth something.

BUT MOSTLY MY FEELINGS ABOUT THAT ARTICLE OMG. <3 <3 <3
