Lately I've decided and realized that I live in a paradise. The fast has been wonderful so far and i've only been fasting a few days. i keep thinking about how free i feel now.  it's amazing how restriction can be so liberating. i think it has something to do with self-discipline and detachment. being less attached to food i can focus more on spirituality.. which is the true freedom.   Fasting is really ( Read more... )

It's interesting how much i think about my own death. I have for years. I don't think about what I'll go through, I imagine what things will be like here.  Who would go to my funeral, who would cry, if people would travel from farther distances... stuff like that. Things have been great lately. I've gotten to relax, hang out with friends, and even when I'm pressed for time, I've been calm and I haven't stressed out.
