rrrrgggggggggg. why do people settle? why can't we just be better? why are people so shallow? for the first time in a long time i have disappointed myself. i expected a lot and it doesn't feel like i achieved anything. some of that anger has been displaced onto others, but not too unjustly... maybe. people forgive i guess.

Today as i was walking through campus and aldrich park, I found myself attempting to find the best climbing tree on campus...

It was a beautiful day today. Much like the day i found out Nana died and the day Baba Khalil died. My Uncle Chuck passed away this evening. He was a wonderful person. He was smart and very amiable. Fall quarter is officially over!!! wohoo! I just turned in my extra credit paper (at the last minute of course :) and i needed to get there fast and mom actually got me to uci in like 5 or 10 mins in traffic! i just had some old salad cashews to celebrate :). I have this very strange urge to write a cute love song with like no depth to it... I have most of the chorus and a chord progression stuck in my head and everything!!! This has never happened before!! I'm not even supposed to like love songs! I think I'm going insane.

For whatever reason, I keep being reminded of bad things from high school. Well, not high school exactly, just things that happened during that time in my life. Some things I did just made no sense.
