I'm really loving this fic! The premise is very interesting, and I love how you write all the characters! I can't wait to read more!

Nice update, thought I'd warn you- your italics've gone sour. Not sure why, tags look fine; only explanation I can think of is that they maybe got nested into some other formatting, but I can't see any other formatting. ಠ_ಠ Confusing.

And for the record, as a North-Westerner who's tried poutine I've got to say it was kind of... unpleasantly messy. And it tasted funny. But I'm not Canadian, so maybe I just don't get it.

Ah! Thank you, I'll change that!
And Poutine is funny....some places make it really well and other places make it taste like the epitome of disgusting. It's worth another try though...just be careful where you get it from

Well, it was a sort-of famous street stand, and they also had PB&J fries, so it could be they were just famous for the novelty. Who knows. I looked in Nova Scotia, too, but the only places within miles were Tim Horton's and about ten Denny's. My family kind of lives in the wilderness. Canada adventures! Perhaps I will try harder.

Poutine, yay!

This story is wicked great and I kind of want to have your fictional children.

My fictional children will be all yours, dear. We can send them to Unbelieaunivseristy when they're old enough, and we can cry a bit because we're saps like that.

Oh man, I love the swift turn from Fluff Avenue to Plotty Plot Street. This is so good!

Much as I adored the adorable banter between Sherlock and John in the previous part, this section is terribly exciting :)

Ah, yes, just do your best not to get lost on Exposition Street, or take a wrong turn on Cliche Lane, because I'm afraid you might pass it on your tour

Poutine? POUTINE?! Well, that's one word I never thought I would ever read in a Sherlock fic. The dish continues to baffle me after all those years; it should taste horrible and it looks disgusting, but I suppose the whole is greater than the sum of its parts (like Benedict Cumberbatch's facial features) and it is delicious! In fact, I want one right now. You're giving me all sorts of cravings with your writing (first coffee, then maple toffee and now poutine).

I was very excited to see that you had updated! John was very sweet in this chapter and I giggled like a loon when his expectations of what Scotland Yard would be like were crushed. He seemed very competent when dealing with the girl and I love a competent John. I am now friending you, because I tried to track this and LJ failed to notice me when you updated.

Ah, well, Poutine is definitely an acquired taste - and I'm not entirely sure we don't love it just to spite the rest of the world.

Thank you for continuing to read!
