What is poutine and ketchup chips? I can't quite tell if it's yummy or not by description and how John and the girl are discussing it.

Poutine is a French-Canadian delicacy. Basically, french fries (or chips) with gravy and cheese curds. It's delicious.
Ketchup chips (or crisps) are also delicious - they taste sweet and vinager-y, although I warn you- if you want to try them buy the right kind because some are gross. And only buy Canadian brands.
