Yesterday would have been the 743rd birthday of Malcolm X. Instead it was a great celebration for everyone's hero, Bill Laimbeer. Last but not least, the birthday scent of Laurie Smellabutt spread across the land. Happy Birthday, Laurie. You may receive an empty 6 pack holder from dark horse brewery soon.

I have two ideas for restaurants that I will never follow through with. The first is called "Igualmente". It would be a mexican place that served the correct portions of food groups and all that. Matt is working this morning. Eloise, Benjamin and I took a walk to the coffee shop and the library. Now it is storming. Glad we got that morning walk in before the bad weather! So, we have a new son and his name is Benjamin Frederick. He was 9 lbs 7 oz at birth, but is now up to 75 lbs and climbing city buildings. Both Bethany and Benjamin are healthy and everyone involved is happy. The hospital is considering paying us for the privilege of delivering our child. Eloise turned 2 a couple days ago. She now has a bike. She got a helmet about a month before the bike. She thinks ahead. She likes the Backyardigans and Mickey Mouse and Blues Clues and Sesame Street and The Wiggles(still). I like Harry Potter.
