After eating only organics for years, you can begin to taste the pesticides in unorganic apples (and some other fruits, too). It's really disturbing when you realize this, because even after removing the skin the taste is still there--pesticides are completely systemic in many fruits and vegetables. :-/

Good luck with eating mostly organic. Do you have a list of the "dirty ten" to follow (the top ten worst foods to eat if they aren't organic)? That's how I started off many years ago.

yea, I don't even crave the food anymore, just the chemicals - as sick as that sounds. Do you have that "dirty ten" list? I know apples and grapes are on there, but not sure about the rest.

You'll have to look it up. I've been completely organic for so long that I can't remember everything. Here's what I think was on the list: apples, grapes, sweet peppers, potatoes, lettuce. I remember that cauliflower and broccoli weren't considered all that "dirty" but I don't even eat those now unless they are organic.

It's worth looking up, though!
