Today is M U C H better at work. Yesterday was terrible. Terrible is actually an understatment, it was seriously the worst day (at work) that I've had in a really long time. Thankfully, today is a new day.  Now if i can just get through it without messing anything up too badly or killing someone at the office life will be good. North Dakota is absolutely gorgeous.  I had to drive in from Fargo which is about an hour and half away. Everything is blooming here & the sunflower fields are especially pretty. There is a field of them right by the faclity I'm working at. I had to stop today and take some pictures like a true tourist. The weather here is beyond perfect. I doubt ( Read more... )

 There are a lot of things in life I will never be good at....but I can bake some seriously good Banana bread. I think 1/2 the reason I buy bananas is so that I'll have an excuse to make it. Today was probably the best day we've had so far. The people in Jamestown are so great....the tempatures...are not so great. It didn't get above 6 all day long....the fact that we spent a good deal of it outside....allowed the tempatures to leave quite the impression on us.  Snow, Snow and more Snow. I woke up this morning to a sky full of snow. Minneapolis was projected to get about an inch but they got 3-4 inches easily. I'm staying in a fancy shmancy hotel here full of business people so...I got plenty of stares this morning at 7am when i was playing in the snow in my PJ's. You know what's a really bad feeling in Minnesota? The feeling of dread when you turn the shower off. It's always cold the minute you crack that bathroom door....but in Minnesota, this feeling is incredibly bad.
