kitteh update
speck made it through her surgery yesterday just fine- the vet pulled three rotten teeth & drained the abcess that was the proximate cause of the whole adventure. she is recovering at home, with massive amounts of anitbiotics and pain meds (i didn't know there were such things s kitty pain meds; i'm glad) and soft food. i think she'll come to ( Read more... ) -
i knew i worked for a reason
so spectacle pod, herein after referred to a "speck", doesn't seem to have a foxtail up her nose. what she does have is at least one abcessed tooth plus a massive infection due to same. she will be going into surgery tuesday morning. first we have to knock the infection down a bit, and get rid of the fleas & ear mites. poor speck! -
life in the bike lane
quiet productive weekend. planted heritage tomatoes from the local farmer's market (one pineapple, one "great white") in big plastic pots by the front porch, where they'll get morning sun & watered regularly. cut down many small trees sprouting where they shouldn't be (mostly locust) in the front yard. bought new jeans at ross. felafels for
