i'm done. i'm done. i'm done!!!! i am done with year 1 of the phd program! Yeah me! my class started with 14, now there are only 10 of us coming back next year. its survival of the fittest and, man, am i fit!

i have had amazing conversations this whole last week. everything from incredibly interesting email discussions, to late night phone calls with Nicole, to plans to change the world through service and activism at work. my job at the center for service (etc) is wicked cool. they are sending me to san fran for a week in August for a conference on ( Read more... )

a girl in my office just brought me a plate of fruit and some hummus with pitas. amazing.
seriously, amazing.
i love working with all non-meat eaters. everyone in this office is either vegan or vegetarian.

i moved into my new apartment yesterday. moving was incredibly sad, but i figured it would be. my new place is so cute. the kitchen is huge. the windows are huge. it gets the best sunlight. plus, it only took my 15 minutes to get to school today. :)
