of grammatology is a deconstructionist text. derrida deconstruct language. the hardest part is that to deconstruct language, you have to use language -- it gets very confusing. he makes up a bunch of words that only he uses -- again very confusing. its philosophy and literary criticism mashed into one. but, oddly enough, i like it. i guess that is why i'm in grad school in this program, right?

p.s. here's a little anecdote: there once was a girl named sarah ditty, who was applying for teach for america. her interview was on march 30th, and she finds out if she gets hired two weeks later. her odds are looking pretty good. if she's hired, there's a chance she will be assigned in d.c. with a lovely lovely lady named rachel!
p.s.s. don't you love my third person narrative?!

and the lovely lady named rachel would be deliriously happy if a girl named sarah ditty was assigned to d.c.
did you know that royalty refers to themselves in the plural (the royal we) and in the third person, so since we are way cooler than royalty, we are definitely allowed to talk about ourselves in the third person.
