Entry for ten_squared theme of the month: Fooled you

So I sat down planning to write another sappy piece for the theme (come on, 'Fooled you' sounds like its dying for some major fluff), but I was consumed with TEH ANGST!  ( <-------- that's the warning, btw.  No fluff will be found here.) T____T I keep killing characters off in my stories nowadays.  GAH.

This has to be my favourite fic of all. Nothing too ooc. Beautiful portrayal, beautiful storyline. And yeah, when I saw the title, I was like, "Ooohh yay.. Another sweet-floss covered fic that will make me melt in a puddle of fluffy luff~!!!" But then I ended up having tears in my eyes, going, "Tenten~!! No!! TT.TT". The happy "Fooled ya!" rang cold and sad in my ears, more like a weakened breath. Dying words. Words I'd expect Tenten to have said softly when she blew that bomb, thinking about Neji, wanting to comfort him with her famillarity.
