Work on Friday was going to take forever, I knew as much, so I decided first thing in the morning to stick some Post-It notes over the time on my computer screen and my phone so that I wouldn't be clock-watching all day. Just got back from a Detroit Derby Girls pre-season game at Riverside Arena. My father died on Saturday, December 6th, 2008 at 7:22PM.

I can't really write a memorial entry to him right now, because I'm still in shock and don't know what to say. My father, who is in his 60s and has been using an oxygen tank regularly for over a year now, went into the hospital this evening with two collapsed lungs. He's currently intubated and on a respirator to help him breathe, and heavily sedated.
