"She's got a way about her.. I don't know what it is.. but I know that I can't live without her.."

I really don't want things to change. I'm scared, but dammit.. I'm going to embrace this. It's not every day that the feeling of happiness consumes me ( Read more... )

the secret to knowing what u have is real (or as real as can be) is when the little things come into play. things that i have done that have worked included: random cards of 'thank you' thanking the person for being with you. random tokens of appreciation from a small trinket to a rice crispy treat, something to let them know you were thinking about them. calling and leaving a voice mail "hey, just wanted to say, have a good day" is a nice thing to do.

Yesss!!! ahaha!!! yay! I'm all giddy right now! Haha...whew...

But yeah, that nervous feeling? I think that happens to the best of us...I think it happens to people who really care about what's happening before them...who really care about the people in front of them. Yes...the first time Jason and I kissed...I was nervous as hell. And what's the best part?...three months later we both still get butterflies every time.

See you tonight! Can't wait!

It seems like there have been a lot of "simple things" for a lot of us lately. I'm enjoying it. =) Yay for us!

The Best, and most perfect, is when those simple things survive years and years of being together. I've been with Jason for (oh, about 10 years! gee, that's amazing!) and the things that mean the most to me are when he kisses me goodbye as he jumps out of the car every morning on his way to formation, or how he comes home and I'm making dinner and he walks up behind me and embraces me. I love yous whispered every so often, kisses on the neck,.... Butterflies subside, but those little "simple things" remain, and they are the so easy to take for granted.
My most favorite Simple thing, is when we are able to get out alone and we sit down to dinner at a restaurant and we talk and hold hands across the table. The idea that we just want to be connected.
Lisa, I'm happy for you. And I gotta tell you, I miss going to Denny's with you. LOL! Don't take him for granted.
