The water flows slowly around them as their lips meet. Jensen’s hands run teasingly down Jared’s naked chest until he reaches the soaked material that makes up the pants that hang low on his lover’s hips. As gently has he can, he removes the offending article of clothing before quickly doing the same to his, throwing them behind him towards the shore.

“Jay,” Jensen moans pulling back from the heated kiss, “want you in me.”

“God, Jen,” Jared whispers back, stunned as Jensen wraps one leg around his hip. As Jared’s fingers begin to trail to the waters surface, his lips lock onto Jensen’s collarbone. Jared smiles between the sucking kisses he trails down and over Jensen’s chest, as a finger slips into him. “So tight…” he murmurs pulling his finger slowly out and slipping it back in.

With Jensen’s insistence of more, Jared adds another finger, and after a few minutes begins moving them to a sloping rock at the edge of the water. He careful leans Jensen against the slight slope before moving in between his legs.

Jensen reaches his arm up, and after placing a hand behind Jared’s head and pulling him down, he kisses him gently, “I love you, Jay.”

“Love you Jen” Jared says as he opens his eyes and stares up at the early morning sky. He was sick of relieving the same memory over and over again. To him it seemed like he was being punished for loving Jensen. To know the man’s touch but to never feel it again. Living was hell, yet Jared somehow managed to soldier through.

Reluctantly he stands stretches his arms above his head, hearing the bones realign, and begins making his way back to where he left Will. The only time he stops is to catch some fish so that the boy could have a meal. God only knew how long it had been since he had a meal.

Smelling something like warm, fresh food, has Will opening his eyes and looking around for the source. “Hey there.” Jared says crouched over a fire. “Hungry?”

“Only if it’s edible.”

“I have you know, I’ve had to cook for many years now, and look at me,” he says standing and turning slowly around, “does it look like I would eat horrible food?”

“Guess not.” Will replies, standing up and moving closer to the aroma of cooked fish. “Where did you find fresh fish at?”

“There’s a stream not far from here.” Jared answers as he takes the fish away from the flames. Jared lets Will take the fish from him, and settles down as the boy begins to devour the meat.

“Jensen says he thinks you forgot the promise you made.” Will says out of the blue, when he’s finished with the fish.

“What?” Jared raises an eyebrow, clearly confused. Wondering first what promise he’s broken to Jensen, and secondly how Will would know about it.

“You’ve given up on him.”

“I will never…” Jared glares at the boy, lips pressed into a thin line, “give up on Jensen. He means the world to me, and one day I fully plan on having him back.”

“Be sure to keep that promise.” Will calmly tells the taller man, before he stands and begins packing up the camp so they could leave as soon as possible. “Jensen deserves nothing less.”
