For your music-writing, have you tried making lyrics first and then setting the music to that? It's a different approach and works for some. If it doesn't, you could always toss it. Some great composers destroy(ed) their pieces all the time.

mhmm. i've tried bunches of different ways t'write musick. i'm not even sure what works best for me, but imna keep on trying different methods, 'coz s'what i do.
