I've had two interviews at Applebee's in the last two days. It looks like I'm hired as a server! I have an intervew with the regional manager in the next two weeks (they'll call me and let me know when), and I'm set up for orientation two weeks from today. Yeay-ah! I'm gonna be a peer mentor next semester for Freshmen coming into the Anthro/Soc/Justice Studies department! Yay for "helping to advise!" It's one p/f credit, and it requires 2-3 office hours per week. I guess I'll have a list assigned to me, and I'll have to meet with them if they want to discuss their collegiate careers... and stuff. Exciting

I had an awesome weekend with Mom and Dan and Kenzie. She is the CUTEST PUPPY EVER. She's SO sweet, and she's completely sociable, and she's big-dog-dopey, and well-tempered and smart. I'm so excited to get her back in June. I'll post pictures as soon as Dan e-mails them to me ( Read more... )

My puppy is secured at Mom's house! They'll be here on Friday around 3:00 unless catastrophe ensues (which, with my mom, it just might...). I'm pretty mommy-excited, but I'm VERY puppy-excited.
