Hi. Seeing as livejournal allows one to export, but facebook does not, it makes a lot more sense to author more permanent content here on LJ than locking it into FB. I have FB read my public posts on LJ via RSS and publish them as Notes on FB. I pretty much do NOT write notes directly to FB. That seems to work pretty well. Nice to make your acquaintance. :-)

Actually, I used to have this set up that way, but have found that almost none of the people who read what I write are not on FB. I posted a few of my things here just to share them with a woman I have been corresponding with who is not on FB.
