wow that's just not the right way to behave. I dislike parents like that, the one's that think they can threaten people to get their child the best of things. I certainly wouldn't have the patience to do your job :D

How fantastic it must be to celebrate a 50th anniversary. People don't take their vows seriously anymore, and to have a long-lasting marriage like that and still love the other person, is truly rare.

did you slap that parent in the face and tell them if they carry on like that they're gonna end up scaring their kid, and fucking them up in high school? definately had that when i was younger, and now nothings ever quite good enough! dang.

anywho, sounds like you have had an alright week, you got plenty of planning done? last time you posted you'd decided to not do it over half term! :P good plan.

the shopping sounds good :) what did you buy?

(p.s this is my other journal, Miki_loves_h)

Hey, work is totally a valid excuse!

Ugh, that's annoying. I hate how most schools except every child to be a winner, even if they don't deserve it. School is not utopia, and I think a child has to learn somewhere that they have to work for praise, not just exist.

sldkjfsdlkj I LOVE the Trafford centre. I miss it so much. It's been ages since I've last been. :[.

my thoughts exactly. Sometimes i think kids are just wrapped up in cotton wool and if they are they'll never be prepared for the real world.

I love the trafford centre too. This is the first time ive been there in years!

I love anniversaries. It makes me believe in love so much more.

Reading your journal is going to give me lots of perspective on being a teacher, which is a profession I constantly flip flop on as a possiblity for me.

*snickers* Oh no, momzilla. Actually, my mom would bitch me out when I didn't get something she thought I should, even when I was really little.

Sounds like you had a nice weekend! :) Or at least a busier one than mine. I just kind of slept and lazed around all day.
