Buddhism is cool.

Nobody should buy presents. Take me for example. What have I done over this break? Nothing. I'm maintaining my zen in the face of adversity (my mother screaming and furiously cleaning shopping wrapping etc.) It's probably because I'm lazy though.

I completely agree with everything you said about Christmas getting way too out of control with all the gift buying an shit. And I also agree with Jesus being an amazing teacher, but how can you believe in what He says if you don't believe in Him? Because you stated that you were unitarian. So I just don't understand how you can recognize His word but want to be a buddhist?

better surveilance system. humans are gross. but not really.

I work at a lingerie boutique on my main street. Its one of those places you wonder how the heck it stays open because everything is so expensive. or maybe its just because I am cheap and everything to me is expensive.

Anyway this sweet old man comes in, apparently every year, and spends a 1,000 on lingerie for his wife. Such a nice guy and its his money blah blah blah but it makes you think a little something something when you are working all day scraping money together for school books/future and this guy spends 1,000 on toothpaste to fill his wife's crack.

There is a huge buddhist temple near me. Apparantly it has one of the biggest statues of buddha in the nation or something like that. Random huh? A huge omage to buddha is 30 minutes from my house nestled in between 5.6 million dollar houses.
