Sleep is my friend, yet I have been separated from my friend for all but 7 hours since 3am Saturday morning, and it is now 12:45am on Tuesday morning. I wouldn't miss my friend so much if I didn't have so much damn work to do. Damn it. That is all.

A few of us at work today were discussing the high gas prices, always an issue in L.A. where the average drive to work is greater than 25 miles each way, at least where I work. So, it looks like my first semester of grad school is going to be a hell of a lot of fun. I will be taking three classes this semester. First is a robotics class in which we finish the semester by building and competing against each other with robots that we have to both design and program in groups of two. Well, I seem to be good at selling my battlebot design. The design is nearly complete now, with only a few details remaining.
