Honestly, I am planning on just continuing on at Cal State Northridge for my master's degree, then applying elsewhere for my doctorate. The most important reason for this is that I can't afford to live on my own if I go to UCLA because they only offer day classes, and the drive to UCLA would be brutal (about 50 miles each way, compared to 35 for work, and in significantly worse traffic). Cal State Northridge, on the other had, offers a lot of night classes for master's level, and televises almost all master's level engineering courses. Therefore, I would be able to work enough to live on my own while attending grad school there. Also, Northrop Grumman has a couple of rooms set aside at the facility where I work that receive these transmissions, so I won't even have to leave work to go to a lot of my classes
