Wow, you did so much better than me today! 110 cal! Amazing! I had like 6oo-700 cals but walked for 1 1/2 hours and now am going to do yoga for another hour. So that's 2 1/2 hours of exercise today. Not bad, but not outstanding either. At least I didn't give into a binge today because we have REALLY nice smelling cookies in the house. Tomorrow I'll try much better - probably will consume 400 cal. and add more exercise to the walking.
thanks. i'd have a little more tomorrow, but I'm terrified of breakfast, so I only do dinner, really. maybe I'll do a midday snack. don't want to sabotage my metabolism.
you know what i've decided I HATE!!! food commercials or resturant commercials...the stupid sonic or mcdonalds...or any of them! they come on and im just like NOOOOOOOOOOOOO....turn it off! it makes me mad cuz then i get cravings...and think about what i used to eat but i kno i cant or shouldnt...so i just try and ignore it...anyone else getting sick of this??!!
besides that i am doing pretty well with my 500 cal. a day thing...only 195 so far today...but tonite we are having a big dinner with my g-rents and my b.f...and he knos i dont like to eat much so ill just have to watch it! thats why i havent eaten much... good luck everyone! stay strong! -L
hey, got to your journal through died4you. omg, i guess japanese food will be my favourite food from now on =). thanx for listing them all down here...
today was the first time in many many months that I had trouble making myself eat i know that feeling. it happens to me, too, that when i have food in front of me (it can be low carb, low calorie, low fat anything) i feel like i don't want to lift the fork up and eat it. i really have to force myself to swallow something... there was a time when i felt like i couldn't eat anything at all for weeks, but my best friend was around and she made me eat, you know, so I got less out of it than I wanted, but still it was more then i had expected...
i love that quote, it's my absolute favorite from that book. i heard somewhere that he wrote the entire book in like, 2 days straight (with the help of a few amphetimines).
have you ever had shabu-shabu? great choice if you ever have to go to a restaurant, and i think a shabu-shabu place just opened up in pasadena. i would think l.a. would have a couple more, though... anyways, not only it it cooked at your table, encouraging you to feel nifty and cultured (the table itself sometimes has a burner embedded on it for the soup pot) it's super-low cal. here's a site with good info: http://www.globalgourmet.com/destinations/japan/shabushabu.html
