I think your textuire use is beautiful....coloured textures are great for enhancing colours, and for adding more colour to what might be an otherwise plain icon. I especially like the colours on #3 and #14, i like the way the faces are highlighted.
Textures can also add depth to an icon, like on #7, they actually look as though they are standing out of the icon, what with the curved effect of the texture near the black strip.
I don't think you've lost your old style, i think, like you said that you've enhanced it with the textures.
Agreed muchly with the comment above mine -- you haven't lost your old style, it's just been enhanced by some pretty nifty experimentation. I've always been a big fan of textures (when used properly), and you definitely know what you're doing here. You're not going nuts with colors; you're making good (albeit bold, but not in a bad way) choices with what you use with what sort of screencap, and I think the results are really stunning.
As always, I think they're all fantastic and gorgeous, and you are still the Queen of Kickass Cropping. I think my favourites are 9, 10, 17, 20, and 22 (GOD, I love that cap). Love them all! :)
what i love about your usual style is the quality of light, i think, and there's a pristineness to those icons that i feel higher contrast/darker/texturised icons like these are missing. but please continue to experiment, that's always a good thing!
