Anna and I have a Nintendo Wii!!!

We waited in line for over 13.5 hours at Walmart to get the Wii at the midnight release date. It was totally worth the wait!

Sure, we had to put up with the annoying 8th graders in line who had camped out since Friday at 3pm, and he had to wonder why one of them thought it would be a good idea to feed Pringles to ( Read more... )

i'm definatly getting one, but I don't have one yet cause I didn't wait in line. I'll definatly drop you a line with mine when I get it.

Look around for the something awful thread about a guy who's nunchuck wrist strap broke and flew into his tv and cracked his screen. Just something to watch out for. I'm putting hockey tape and steel cable around jen's wrist when I get one and we are playing bowling :)

Ok, let me know when you get one.

BE CAREFUL with bowling! We had our first "accident" tonight. We were playing bowling and I smacked a glass of water on the coffee table in front of me. No damage done, but yeah, it can happen. And yes, I did hear of the guy who threw his Wiimote through his tv. The strap is rather loose and comes undone easily.

Skeptical of what? That I have a Wii? Or the Wii itself? Let me tell you, it is more fun than any other console I have played. It was completely worth the time and money we spent to get it.

It is in my nature to not even consider buying that console and wait for the next generation of arm swinging game play. It is in my nature until I am convinced otherwise of course. There are only a few things that I am truly stubborn on and the Wii is not one of them. I guess I've just always been cold towards Nintendo ever since I was denied a N64 for my childhood.

But Kerry, the Wii is your friend! Give in to your Wii urges!
