Oh how scary!! When my husband had his gall bladder attack and we didn't know what it was I was terrified. He couldn't move, could hardly talk and I don't drive! Thank the gods it worked out for both of us!

Hey, Bax, do you have any comments on how this was written? Ways to improve it maybe? You're the first person to read this.

Did it seem too long? Or incomplete in some way? Or ... just plain boring?:) It's so hard to look at my writing objectively since it happened to me, you know?

Gall bladder attacks hurt SO BAD! I had several before they finally figured out it was gallbladder and took it out back in 2002. I didn't know what was wrong but it was some of the WORST pain of my life!

I hadn't thought of the fact that you can't drive when there is an emergency. That does add to the sense of panic, I am sure. I am glad your husband is ok!! I know how good you two are together, you two seem very happy with each other:)

I didn't see any problems with your entry. The length was fine and I felt your panic throughout the whole thing. It worked for me.

Wow. I've never even heard of esophageal ulcers before. What a frightening way to learn those lessons. You definitely kept me on edge reading this!

We hadn't either. I had no idea how dangerous they could be. I wasn't even aware it was something one could get.

I'm glad to know it was an exciting read. I wasn't sure if maybe it seemed to drag on and on. Those 45 minutes definitely seemed like an eternity. I was so scared it was heart or something very dangerous when time mattered.

Thanks for commenting!:)

I think there are a lot of medical problems that we just don't know about until someone we know has it. That was the case with the particular type of cancer my mum got. Except I hear about it all the time now, it seems! I guess I just tune into it more now I'm aware of it.

I didn't think it dragged during that part at all, so I think you handled that really well.

I hope your mom is ok now?

Yes, for instance, I had never heard of Behcet's Syndrome until they discovered I probably have it.

There are more diseases out there than we know about.

I appreciate the feedback. I did feel this was missing..something. I wrote it very quickly but in 3 different sittings (my life, I can't even write an entry all in a row without being interupted.)

I will work on fixing this. I do think you had some points. May take a little while, I have to go pick up my other 2 kids.

As I understand it, I can edit/change my entry until the deadline, so I will be working on it. Thanks for your feedback:)

I'm glad you remember my antelope story. I wish I had had as many amazing experiences as my dad so I had more stories like that:)

Eep! That's one of my fears since Lynn's older than me. It doesn't help that we had an ambulance ride on our first month anniversary of dating.

I really hope he's much better now.

His esophagus is. He does have other health issues but, well, we're making it so far. He's almost 54 now.

Thanks for your good wishes:)
