Other days, it's enough to survive.  I've had times when I told myself, "All you have to do is keep breathing ( Read more... )

Yes, what matters changes. There are so many variables in life that can change our world. Take care and as my yoga instructor says: "you do you". Smile.

I've been practicing a little over 4 years. It took a long time to find an instructor willing to work with me so that I could follow her. I was very lucky when a new studio opened here in town and Both Devin, my yoga instructor, and her wife, Deb, have been wonderful and so helpful. I am now in a regular all levels class and need little assistance for most things. (except some inversions which elude me!)

You make some very good points, but you keep repeating the phrase “what matters most” so often that it losses it’s intensity, if you know what I mean? Just my two cents.

Profound and very relateable, it is true that what matters changes as our lives move forward, but one thing that never changes is the love of a mother for her chidren, that I truly understand.Thank you for sharing this and good luck with your entry x

Do you have a child/children?

Yes, I will always love my kids. I may not always agree with their choices, but I always love the people they are.

Good luck to you this week too!!

As someone watching their children stumble out into the work and make their own choices (sometimes well, sometimes painfully), I can relate - you have to be open and accepting and loving (and accept that sometimes, you are wrong!)

I really loved these lines: You never can quite grasp what matters most, you can only feel it rumble through your heart, blow apart your life, and leave you making mosaics from the broken glass that remains.

I re-read that line a few times myself.
