Wow, the trees in a forest are a real community then. That is crazy! I had no idea!

It appears we both were thinking about the intelligence of trees this go around. I adore the idea that these objects are living and communing even when transformed. Have you ever read The Slow Regard of Silent Things by Patrick Rothfuss? He does a wonderfully delightful magic in which a person communes with inanimate objects; she really sees them.
