i figure LJ gives me space to be hopeful and effusive and i can say, therefore, that i really really love writing and music and reading and all that other stuff that says what is basically impossible to express in words.

if that makes any sense at all.

i'll probably be using this journal mainly for fic purposes, if i ever manage to finish any :/ i

haha, no, that's awesome! do you ever have that thing in rl where literally NO ONE YOU KNOW likes the same music (i.e. obscure indie bands) that you do, and suddenly when you join, like, the internet and lj, people actually know what you're talking about? and you're like, wow, vindication :D

um. end ramble lol. but you know what i mean ;)

pretty much all of the music i like (but for my mainstream artists) are only also liked by people online, haha. it's kind of cool because a lot of the time, my online friends recommend me awesome music and i know i can trust them because they know the stuff i like. :)

lol yeah true for me too, and i usually end up trying to convince my rl friends to listen to all this amazing stuff i find online and they're like get away, cause most of it falls into the severely indie category :)
