So much has gone on this weekend I don't know where to begin! Carrie and Steven invited us to the fair on Friday. Had a splendifourous time. I got a new belly button ring (it's badass) and I'll post a pic later. We had fair food, looked at all the animals and then took Gabey on the Ferris Wheel. Now. Aww I love the fair. I went last year with my mother, and I had the loveliest time. My mom made it a true fair experience. Seriously. She said we could eat wherever we wanted, so we ate at three different places. HAHA. Sigh. Good times!!!

Honestly...it was -fun- but it was NOTHING like the Iowa State Fair. (I believe the Iowa State Fair is either the 1st or 2nd largest Fair in the Nation.)
We ran into Gabe's long term sub who got a full time position next year as a 1st grade teacher and since I work in the district *grin* I can make requests. HEHE. Anyway, her brother-in-law owns a farm and they had animals and they took Gabe into the corrals so he could touch them. I thought that was neato-squeato. Yeah okay, I was jealous. ;)
Fair food --nothing quite like it. LOL. Derek ate so much, he's a pig ;)
