i still don't know much. from what i've read on forums, pearlington is pretty much gone. the few houses that made it have flood damage and/or tree damage. last count i had was sixty dead ppl in pearlington. i think my great uncle was one of those. no one could get him to leave. my sister is heading down today. she flew into jackson from tx.

they're ok, but we still haven't been able to get in touch w/ them, both our phones are still screwey. his house is gone tho, so his parents might be coming up to stay w/ us if we can get in touch with them. glad u're family is ok (and u're motorcycle) ttyl.
