Samurai 7 stage play - Review & Summary

Alright, here is the summary of the play and some brief thoughts from me about it. The summary is very long, I warn you, and it contains SPOILERS for the entire series. Please don't complain if you haven't seen the whole series yet.

The trip was great! I'll make a friends only post about the rest of the weekend tonight if I have time, but the play was definitely the highlight~! Interestingly enough, I slept better in the manga cafe than I did in the hotel room Monday night (the French girls in my dorm had no manners whatsoever).

sorry, to correct you but...Kyuuzo did not kill Hyogo^^°
Tessai and the nobuseri killed Hyougo. remember? Kyuuzo was using Hyougo as a shield because he had been surrounded by all those nobuseri pointing guns at him. He thought that they would not shoot him if he used Hyogo as a shield and apparently Hyougo thought so too...but well they were both wrong. thet Tessai tried to kill Katsushiro but was killed by the still somewhat alive Kyuuzo XD

AND...Kyuuzo did NOT give his sword to Katsushiro on his own. Katsushiro just took it on his own. That's one of the differences I noticed copared to the first stage. There he actually gave it to Katsushiro.

Sorry again for correcting you but since I love Kyuuzo I had to get the details right^^°

Ah, I did say that I was sure some parts were wrong, so thanks for correcting me. I mixed up Hyougo & Tessai then, hmm? Darn. (>__<)

Kyuuzou is my favorite character as well, and I know at that part the only thing I was thinking was "omg Kyuuzou don't die T___________T" (even though I knew it was inevitable), so I forgot most of the scene, unfortunately. But Kyuuzou did hold the sword up for Katsushirou, who then took it from him...

but katsushiro was not holding the sword until kanbei and shichiroji arrived at the place^^°
and Kyuuzo was already dead (I measn really dead) at that point.
I'm quite sure of it because that was one more reason for me to silently loathe Katsushiro^^°

Yeah, Kyuuzo is LOVE
and Nakagauchi really did great in that role. Just like you I've had my doubts at first but he was awesome. I was a bit diappointed by Kanbei though. And I really cried during Kyuuzos death scene...both times XD

ihfviseuhgsilfghslh THE ANIME. WAS AMAZING. I cannot wait to see the stage play and Kyuzou being oihdfgsdgiohogs so attractive and tough and so much better than everyone else and yet so silent and withdrawn and Katsushiro starting out to enthusiastic and following Kambei only to eventually be disillusioned and think Kyuzou is the greatest person ever. OSIHFSOGIUH I'M KIND OF COMPLETELY GLAD THAT HIJIRI KATSUHIRO DOESN'T KILL MASA KYUZOU ACCIDENTALLY AND GIVE HIM SUCH A CHEAP DEATH.

and and and, all that awful stuff with Katsushiro -> Kirara upset me, so I'm glad that she is straight forward in this too about where her heart lies.

I told you it was awesome! ^______^ I'm glad you enjoyed the anime, and now I KNOW you'll definitely love the play too! Kyuuzo's death scene is so much more emotional and powerful in the play, and with only Katsushirou there with him... ♥♥♥♥ Gah, Masa Kyuuzo. *___*

There is no kissing in the play, if that makes you feel better (I know it made me feel better!) And when you see the Kyuuzo death scene, you'll wonder if he ever really liked her in the first place, because damn, I'm sure he was about ready to kiss Masa Kyuuzo. I really do like Kirara more when she's not quite so "hmm, I love Kambei, but maybe I should lead Katsushirou on a bit more

I CANNOT wait to see Kyuzo's death scene with him and Katsushiro. They had an interesting chemistry in the anime and I'm sure with Masa and Hijiri's friendship, that translated really well onto the stage. soidhgsoig I'm going to be so upset when Masa Kyuzou dies. He was definitely my favourite character in the anime, even without knowing Masa played him. He was so efficient and loyal, even to Ayamaro who he owed nothing to, at the end. Besides the fact that he looked so epically hot wielding two katanas *____*

I got the essence of the report, which was most important :DD Kyuzo all about the presence anyway, he never really needed to say much to get a point across.

♥! The DVD is only a month away~ and the photobook too, haha. I must get on to that~

I did buy the DVD, but unfortunately, I do not do rips. I'm not sure if anyone else even bought the DVD, let alone ripped it. Sorry that I can't be of more help.
