Just sat a mock level 1 Japanese Language Proficiency.  I'm happy to say that I passed the sucker with a 79!  My grammar was still lacking, but I managed to pass all the individual sections - as per the guidelines for the new test.  Hell yeah!  I know the new test is going to "measure slightly more advanced skills," but I'm ready for it.  I was ( Read more... )

I made the crucial decision today to put Kenji to sleep. His chronic pain has been eating away at the both of us since January when he started exhibiting signs of stomatitis. He was diagnosed about a month or two later.
