lamest post EVER . . .

OK -- I know it's a lame post.  I got it.  But frankly, I've got a like 8 plates spinning right now & I'm pretty sure at least one or two of them are teetering on the cusp . . . so I've got to focus on my life's wobbly plates right now. (FYI:  I'm feeling like this guy . . . not these folks)

You know, one of my favourite things about going home for the holidays is trying to figure out who's proofing the headlines in the local paper. If these interviews don't pan out, might I suggest that you apply to the LP? :)

Now that I've been in Regina for a few weeks & have had opportunity to read the Leader-Post a few times, I would suggest that they have no editor AT ALL.

Save a few journalists who are clearly 1) literate and 2) familiar with English grammar, the journalistic standards of a drunken monkey would likely swing higher than the LP on an average day.

I read an article last week on a serious issue (not a soft, feel-good issue) that one could be forgiven for assuming Paris Hilton or Britney Spears had penned.

Even more sad? the UofR has a fine Journalism school . . . with such outstanding grads as Pam Wallin & Todd Battis (CTV National News Vancouver Bureau Chief) & visiting professors such as Knowlton Nash, Roy Bonisteel, & Maggie Siggins.

Maybe Mrs_Drofmab is right . . . people here don't read! (and those who try, give up).
