I was lucky enough to snag  a copy of Guitar Hero III for the Wii the other day.  I decided to see how the other half lives by bureaucratin' it up by day & rockin' it out at night.

Marketing is a delicate art, what with the innumerable facets of the human psyche & human behaviour to factor into any strategy.

One might propose that the boiled-down purpose of marketing is to:
  1. get your potential customer's attention 
  2. motivate them to buy 
  3. get them to actually buy 
  4. get them to buy again (and again…)

I own a pair of skates.  Ottawa is home to the world's largest skating surface.  I can handle being out in the cold.  So I've long wondered why I don't enjoy skating.  At all.

A recent poll on the Government of Saskatchewan website helped me figure it out:  it's in my Saskatchewan genes to not enjoy skating.
