emo - short for "emotional." Emo is a broad title that covers a lot of different styles of emotionally-charged punk rock which started a little bit before 1985. Emo enthusiast (sp?) are known as "scene kids", they are famous for their tight pants and died greasey hair. Emo kids are completely different from goth; but most of the kids that dress accordingly are posers so they make the "emo genre" look as pathetic as the people that go into Hot Topic, buy anything (even if it's like some gay little pen) and think that they are "Goth" because Hot Topic is the coolest the most hardcore store in the world.
So if you're dissing the "emo kids" (posers), then I totally back you up; but if you're attacking the music genre, then I must disagree. Plus, respect the "scene kids" (which are true-blue, not posers)
