Glasses, glasses everywhere

Hello hello... so I went back to the glasses place and took some pictures of myself with the glasses on. Personally I find the Revolution Eyewear frames look much better, but that's just me. =) I think there's a thin line between "hot nerd" and "architect wannabe" that's too often crossed. The Oakleys are too "sporty", and the outer corners of the Barnes are distractingly aggressive.

But what do I know? I can barely dress myself. =)

I like the Revolutions and the Versace. Actually, I like the red Pradas too. It's a deeper (at least in the picture) red that's not too distracting. I don't know about the little detail on the side on those, though- too girly?

One thing that I REALLY dislike about the "Designer" frames is the badges on the sides... The Versace looks better then the Prada badge though, from a distance it just looks like a silver bar.

FWIW, I like the Versace. Something about the slight angle makes them sexy and metro, and a little less boxy. You're totally in the right grouping though - I love the thick black frames. Very geek chic.
